Last night, Kit and I enjoyed a rare night out in Nagoya at Latina - a mediterranean grill. The occasion? A large going away party for a few AEON teachers we know (Matthew and Michelle, et al.) The food was great, although there was not enough to keep 30-40 people satisfied. So, we made up for our lack of food by ordering beer after beer. We paid 3500 for all you can eat and drink. The best part of the evening? Some really heartfelt speeches that made us all want to cry. 

Yukiko, Mama-san, and me (a bit sleepy looking). So, one of my students, Tetsuya-san invited Yukiko and I to experience a very popular men's pasttime in Japan - the "hostess bar". This was our second stop in Anjo. The first place we went to was rather upscale. We enjoyed talking to everyone.
