akiko and aya (asst mgr in sakae) took us snowboarding on monday. we took a bus to gifu in the middle of a hellacious blizzard, and i attempted snowboarding, but didn't really do it - i couldn't see a damn thing and was freezing beyond belief. but, the snow was nice to look at from inside the lodge.
