Last Day in America!
It seems like my last day in the states revolved around food - from John's tacos this morning (bean, cheese, and potato of course) - to Hobbit Hole for lunch - to fried catfish and homemade french fries by mom for dinner. I've spent this last two weeks in Houston in sort of a haze trying to tie up lose ends, and not really getting anything accomplished. At least I'm packed and ready to go.
Well, for the next week I'm not sure how up-to-date my blog will be since I will be in intensive training in Nagoya. I leave tomorrow morning (june 10th) at 7:44 on United, fly to San Francisco, depart for Nagoya at 1pm and arrive June 11th at 4:20 pm - for those of you interested in the minute details. I will have Saturday evening and all day Sunday to acclimate myself to the new time zone and check out Nagoya. Then, it's straight to work on Monday, where we learn all about the company, the teaching methodologies, and our role as teachers. So, I will try to report back as much as possible about my experiences. Take care everyone!
